SELF REFLECTIONS
These photographs are my diary. This is a work about growing up—about the people I’ve loved, and places I’ve been. It’s about time passing, evident through the friends who share the frame with me, as well as their conspicuous absences. I would like to think that there’s a joy in this work—that it’s a celebration of the mundanity of all the odd places we see ourselves every day. I began this series in 2017, and since then, it has been my excuse to always stay making images, with the photographs serving as both an exploration in the moment, and an archive looking back.
